Dear Diary  

 

With my numerous amount of tries, I finally got excepted into the Royal Military Academy in Sand Hurst. I feel victorious and a little sense of trepidation about what to experience on my journey to becoming a  soldier. The sense of excitement is bubbling inside me, but not only that I feel proud of myself and honored to go to the Academy but that I get to train and work with my future soldiers and go on missions with them throughout our time here.  

 

On another note I feel sense of sadness because during this journey I have been focusing on getting in without contemplating the affect it will have on my parents. Who will help them around the house when I am gone. Life as a soldier will eventually lead me into war.
